Together for BELIA

BELIA grows thanks to the support and commitment of many organisations, foundations, institutions, clubs, associations and funding bodies. They contribute in various ways to developing BELIA further and making it accessible to as many people as possible. These include, amongst others:

By older people for older people

BELIA helps older people to recognize their wishes and needs and to live their lives as independently and as they wish as possible for as long as possible.

BELIA arose from the question of what is truly important to people in old age and what they need to be able to live as independently and self-determinedly as possible for as long as possible. A group of seniors from the Bern region explored this in depth and jointly developed a comprehensive catalogue of needs. Seniors from Grisons as well as professionals from the elderly care sector contributed their experiences and perspectives to complement the work.

Thus the foundation of BELIA was created. Today, BELIA combines these wishes and needs with suitable offers, activities and services throughout Switzerland.

BELIA is being further developed

BELIA is continuously improved. The aim is to make the search for suitable offers simpler and more understandable.

Technology helps in the background. What matters most to you is that you find what you're looking for quicker.

Co-created by older people

The experiences of older people are crucial for BELIA. That is why BELIA is being developed and further improved together with older people.
